Fe – Conocimiento – Exito
About Our School
Founded in 1913 under the leadership of Father John Carroll, Holy Trinity School was established to provide Catholic children with an education that would include faith development as well as academic instruction. Originally staffed by the Sisters of Mercy, all classes are currently taught by dedicated lay teachers.
Our rigorous curriculum includes daily religious education along with a strong language arts and mathematics program. Such updated features as a fully electronic library, state-of-the-art technology center, advanced math, Spanish, and an instrumental music program enhance the curriculum. History, social studies and science round out the curriculum. Interactive Smart Boards have been installed in all classrooms. iPads enhance student learning in the classroom. Holy Trinity School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
Our school day runs from 8:10 a.m. until 2:25 p.m. Transportation is provided for students residing in Wallingford.
About Our Principal- Michael J, Frechette, Ph.D.
As we begin another year together, I want to take a moment to thank the faculty and staff for their dedication, flexibility, and commitment to Catholic education. The warmth and welcoming atmosphere of the school community and the accepting and hospitable greeting from the faculty, staff, and community continues to be tremendous. I have experience as the Principal of Our Lady Of MountCarmel, Meriden, CT, teaching at the University level, PreK-12 public school teaching, and Central Office Administration as a Superintendent of Schools, and Assistant Superintendent/Director of Special Education. First and foremost, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my wife and daughter. Supporting and providing guidance in my daughter’s career aspirations rounds out our family time. I am an avid runner (now walking), I enjoy leisure reading, and I relish traveling when possible. Cooking has been a lifelong passion of mine and I take pleasure in cooking for family and friends. Finally, after having grown up near the ocean and having spent as much time as possible there, it remains an ardent and fundamental component of my life.
I am truly blessed to be part of the Holy Trinity Family.
Sincerely,
Michael J. Frechette, Ph.D.
